Professionally involved in the numismatic industry since 2000, Vadim has an extensive knowledge of Australian coins and banknotes. Vadim’s expertise range through Australian Proclamation coins, Gold, Silver and Copper Pre-decimal coins, Pre-decimal banknotes, Decimal Banknotes and Modern Issues. He is also knowledgeable in world coinage.

Vadim speaks Russian as a second language and is heavily involved in martial arts, being one of the most senior of his field in Australia.

Tony James

Numismatic Consultant - specialising in Australian and World banknotes.

Professionally involved in the numismatic industry since 1997 and an avid collector for over 25 years, Tony is one of Australia’s foremost experts in Australian Banknotes, through Pre-federation, Pre-decimal & Decimal Notes and including military & emergency issues.

He is also widely studied in world Banknotes as well as Military coins and tokens, of which he is a collector.

Tony is a member of the International Bank Note Society and has presented papers at many of the annual conventions held in Australia. He is also a member of the American Numismatic Society and Australian Society of authors.

He has written over 250 columns and articles, firstly for the Australian Coin Review, and then for the Australasian Coin and Banknote Magazine. He has also been published in the Journal of the International Bank Note Society, Coin News (UK) and the Banknote Reporter magazines.

Michael Leatherland

Numismatic Consultant and Office Manager - specialising in developing investment portfolios.

Michael started his numismatic career with Monetarium in 2010.

Previously a client, he has developed a successful investment portfolio of Banknotes through our NumisSelect program and joined our team to help others do the same.

Michael also serves his local community as a Rural Fire Service volunteer in the town of Annangrove North West Sydney.

Tony Richardson is an internationally recognised authority on Australian gold sovereigns and Commonwealth coinage, with over 25 years profitable experience in buying and selling rare coins and banknotes the world over. His contacts for sourcing coins extend throughout Europe, the Far East and the United States.
